Dr. Lisa Compton

I began studying Chinese Medicine in my teens. After finishing my undergraduate degree at the University of South Carolina (Go, Cocks!), I began an apprenticeship with a Doctor of Oriental Medicine, which lasted several years. I then went on to complete master’s and doctoral programs in Traditional Asian Medicine at Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado, and Five Branches University in San Jose, California, respectively. I am nationally board-certified in acupuncture and herbal medicine. I am a native of Columbia and am happy to be back home after being away.
